A glimpse into the past
Maces Bay is a small coastal community on the Fundy Shores in Charlotte County, New Brunswick. It is approximately 38 minutes or 49 km from Saint John. Take taking Rte. 1 until you reach the turn off to Rte. 790. You will then find several small quaint communities such as Lepreau, Little Lepreau, Maces Bay, Dipper Harbour, Chance Harbour and Musquash.

LePreau Falls is a scenic waterfall located in Lepreau off route 1. Experience the thunderous sound of the water cascading 8 meters over a rocky ledge while at the same time, enjoying the many look out points , trails, and picnic sites located around the falls.
This covered bridge is located just off route 790 at Little Lepreau. Covered bridges were often referred to as kissing bridges because couples would stop for privacy. It is one of the remaining 56-58 historic covered bridges left in New Brunswick.
One of many scenic wharfs located along the way, the Dipper Harbour Wharf is a 6 minute drive from Maces Bay and can be found in the picturesque fishing community of Dipper Harbour
